She wasn’t quite in the model mood today. She said her inner Tyra just wasn’t feeling the shoot.
So instead of painting the nursery I decided to make Sam a more muted version of the Big Bloom Baby Headband. Although I’m all about the wow of the larger predesessor a few people thought their babes couldn’t quite pull it off. Hence this smaller but just as sweet version. I used cheapie white rose flowers from Michaels and an adult Goody’s headband that I took in to her headsize.
For the complete tutorial click here, just use small silk flowers and do two or three next to eachother on the headband. Also I found it looks better if they’re overlapping a good bit. You shouldn’t be able to see the headband between the blooms when it’s being worn.
Honestly I’m really thinking of making one of these for me, what do you think? With it being the season finale of Gossip Girl I’m feeling I need to express my inner Blair Waldorf with a saavy headband.
