I’ve been super busy this weekend but I’m one of those people where I’m more productive when I’m slightly overwhelmed…the pressure does me good.
1st, you know how I told you we were going to the DC Flea Market yesterday? Well, it wasn’t quite what I expected. I wanted a down and dirty hunt for a $5 bargain type of flea market and this was more of an overpriced antique show. Bleh. I did however find one booth that had TONS of bins of $1 baggies of costume jewelry. Most of it was crap but I did find these…
I’m pretty sure the top clear one is vintage lucite, the bottom right is just the daintiest tortoise shell bangle and the bottom left is a great copper bracelet that I think I’ll wear with the bangle just about every day…
Neat retro looking shimmery white and lavender beaded necklace, I love anything that jingles so the Chinese charm necklace was a gimme (although I need to ask my MIL what the different charms mean to make sure I’m not saying anything crazy) and the cherry earrings aren’t really my style but I think I can repurpose the beads into a dangly cherry bracelet.
And my FAVORITE…
Definitely vintage Austrian crystal necklaces…I LOVE SPARKLY CRYSTAL! I’m a Swarovski sucker and to find vintage crystal…HEAVEN.
I also finished up a custom Jeweled Onesie order for a reader, I didn’t think the onesies could get any cuter until I made them in newborn size…
