Craft Room Storage

by Natasha on April 19, 2010 in Uncategorized

I’ve been booted from my craft room by a certain fetus who by the way, has apparently learned karate. I shouldn’t complain though, I’m really lucky to have this extra “room” off our bedroom that I can claim as my own. I can’t give you the grand tour yet because it’s still in the transitional junk room/baby storage/craft room stage but I did want to show you what I was excited to find for craft storage!
Here’s a close up look…They’re these cubby things from Target that you add onto, this is two sets but I think I need a third. There’s still a TON of craft junk, er, supplies taking up Chum Chum’s closet. I’m afraid I’ll have to wait until the craft budget replenishes itself but for now I’m just glad to have at least started the transition. My goal is to get the whole room put together by mid-may. Then I’ll have a couple of months to put the nursery together…whew, I can do this, I can do this, I…need a nap. Sigh.

I'd need several of those as well!
I ended up putting a bookcase (3 shelves) on my desk to but my jewelry and rubans out of grabby tiny hands.

As many stuff I do, seems like I don't do enough or quickly enough and more supplies add up…

Hi Natasha!! I've been a follower for a few weeks and I've been meaning to say hello. I love your blog and I think you have some great ideas! It's also nice to see another blogger in this area. I haven't found many! I'm on the opposite side of DC from you (I think I read somewhere you're in NoVA), but it's rare to find craft bloggers in DC. Or maybe I'm not looking hard enough? Haha, either way, stop by sometime! Love these cubbies by the way, I have a few and they help me be the organized freak I am. 🙂

Hi Natasha! The cubbies are really organized. (makes me a little envious) I have found some great deals on similar looking shelves from IKEA. Do you have an IKEA near you?

  7. Cheryl @ a pretty cool life.

I have those cube-y things from Target in my craft room, too. They're great and I could use about a dozen more!

Are you going to find out what sex "chum chum" is before you decorate the nursery?

Fabulous! I did a similar thing and used fabric paint to paint giant labels on the fronts of my bins. I love anything that's organized and cute. Good luck continuing the organizational project and getting the nursery ready!
