Fab Find Friday- See Kai Run Lindsay

by Natasha on June 12, 2009 in baby shoes, fab find friday, infant shoes

My kid has fat feet.

I’m not gonna lie about it, there super chunk, fat ‘ol, little piggies and I absolutely adore them. For nibbling on they’re awesome but I’ve quickly found that for shoe hunting they can be a bit tough. To add even more complications they’re not only fat, they’re short, so when shoes like Robeez only come in sizes 0-6mths or 6-12 mths they’re either way too small or way too big for my 10 mth old. I was getting really worried that Samster would be reduced to being “that barefoot baby” until I found Smaller by See Kai Run. These shoes ROCK. Not only are they super soft, buttery leather but the ‘Lindsay’ shoe has an adjustable strap for varying degrees of fat foot. The real selling point though is that they come in a size 9-12 mths, FINALLY a shoe that fits that middle age where crawlers/cruisers actually NEED a good soft-soled shoe. I get countless compliments on the great yellow color too, not your typical pink. You’d be surprised how neutral yellow can be, they go with practically everything! If I had a boy I’d totally get the ‘Finn’ one below. I bought mine from Piperlime but you can also find them at other great retailers like Zappos, Nordstrom or straight from See Kai Run.

Too cute thanks for sharing! I live in the DC area as well and our kids are the same age, so this is where we have been struggling as well! Thanks, Erin
