Mommy Outfit – Sweater Tunics

by Natasha on October 18, 2009 in mommy outfit

Sweater Tunic – Free People via Loehmann’s
Skinny Jeans – Joe’s Socialite Cropped Jean (on sale!)
Motorcyle Boots – Steve Madden (LOVE these & they’re also on sale!)
This isn’t a terribly exciting or trendy outfit but I guess that’s not the point of these posts anyway, just cute yet easy ways to get yourself out of the sweatpant shlump.
I’m really loving sweater style tunics with leggings or skinny jeans. In the summertime I’m always in sundresses or skirts, shorts have never been my thing. Now that it’s getting chillier this is a way of still staying comfy in a sudo-dress. Here are a few more I have my eye on…
GOLDEN STATE Belted Sweater Dress$15
Anthropologie’s Sparrow Lydia Tunic $88
And in my ‘money for shopping is eternal’ fantasy I’d buy this cashmere one from Boden, sigh, a girl can dream can’t she?

I love this tunic from Amazon. I just ordered it.
But I agree about the dress thing.

I love dresses and skirts and now that leggings are in I wear those like all the time.

    Perfect with tunics.

Love that look! And I love that I'm in South Korea right now where leggings are like $2 a pair! You look all set for fall!

Oh wow that Boden tunic is fantastic!
And they have great baby stuff too!

    New favorite website 🙂 thanks!

So cute! I don't know what I am going to do when leggings go out of style again.

I love your "mommy outfits"! I went out and bought the Miley tunic after seeing it here 🙂
It is REALLY hard to feel cute and practical for mom duties so thank you!

Very cute! I love the color of the sweater, so very fall. I'll have to check out the Steve Madden boots, I can't have enough boots!

I don't have kids but I love your "mommy outfits." I think they work well as "college senior" outfits too.
