Normally I would be terrified to consider wearing matching mother daughter dresses. The whole Lilly Pulitzer matchy outfits just aren’t my thing. No offense.
BUT I am very excited to make the smocked little girl dress below that was on Martha this past week, SO cute and I just love Heather Ross’ whimsical sea life prints.
Also on the show she mentioned how it was easy to expand the pattern to an adult size, I’m going to make the top fabric below for myself but strapless and am adding pockets, (which I’ve never done so wish me luck) and the 2nd fabric is for Samster’s.
Cute but not too cute right?

Sigh. I really should be working on Sam’s bday party goodie bags right now but I just feel like laying in bed and reading blogs…hmmm, yep. Not getting up tonight.
