Nighttime Oreos

by Natasha on September 22, 2009 in Uncategorized

I remember when I was a little girl my mom and I would eat oreos dunked in milk before bed…
As you can see Sam was happy to oblige me in keeping the tradition.
I makes me tear up a little, even though she’s a year old sometimes it still just really hits me that I have a daughter, I’M SOMEONE’S MOM! Crazy.
Do you have any traditions you do with your little one that you did with your parents?

Dipping Oreos and milk is a must. I love it when they get super soggy and the first bite just melts in your mouth. Ha ha yummy!! Btw…I love your blog and it's my new addiction. You are so talented!!

My son is 11 yrs old and he still wants to be tucked in. After I tuck him in, we have to say "Night, night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite". And we alternate words so by the end I'm the one saying "bite". I tease him about being too old to be tucked in but secretly I love it.

So cute! I can't wait until I have a child to carry on traditions like this with.

We eat popcorn or apples almost every night in our house. I keep it as healthy as I can, by air popping the corn. No butter, we put parmesan cheese on ours, sometimes with a little chili powder. We also drink milk with it, a healthier way to wash it all down.
I consider traditions to be an important part of a childs life. Funny, I was planning on talking about traditions right around the holidays! You should post your traditions as well, with pics!
