Natasha Bedingfield is on the Today show right now and it just reminded me of a funny story that I don’t think I’ve told before… (I say “funny” although I still don’t really laugh about it)
So most of you guys know my husband works in radio, usually our lifestyle isn’t glamorous by any means but once in awhile we do have a run in with a celebrity that’s kind of neat, such as this. P had interviewed Natasha Bedingfield a few times and her record rep is a good friend of ours. I guess she had called the rep for some reason and he told her he was in Tampa at our wedding, well she thought it’d be funny to call P’s cell phone, ON OUR WEDDING DAY, and leave him a voicemail that said something to these regards…
“Hi Kannnne (to be done in sing songy british voice) it’s the OTHER Natasha, so I’ve heard that you’re getting married today or something like that and that’s why you couldn’t do an interview with me but I think you should call me instead of hanging out with that OTHER Natasha. Cheerio!” (Okay, she didn’t actually say ‘Cheerio’, that was a dramatization)
Grrr, now everytime I see her I grit my teeth a bit. Sam and I actually met her last year and she was very nice but still…I think I’m gonna be bitter for awhile longer.
She’s promoting her new album, I do like her music and I guess I have to admit she looks really pretty, but still! No excuse! lol!
