Baby banana pancakes! Only three ingredients, and I usually make a few extra for me because they are delicious! They’re a much softer consistency than a normal pancake.
    1 whole banana
    1 egg
    1/4 c. Oats (I use baby oatmeal)

    Mash up banana
    Mix in egg
    Mix in oats

Heat a little coconut oil or butter in a frying pan and cook like normal pancakes

We just started into the world of making baby food! And we are still on one food at a time… So far we baby has tried bananas and avocado – both mixed with breast milk to thin them – in the blender. We also made carrots, peas, sweet potato, and pears – all organic from Trader Joe’s. But I came on here to share these baby food freezer trays! I actually bought mine from another mama who was done with them. They are silicone and can go in the top rack of the dishwasher! Husband and I loved that we could make several foods and freeze for when we are ready for them – and that our expensive, organic avocados didn’t go to waste! 😉

    1 (organic) honey (butternut) squash

Preheat oven to 450F and line a baking sheet (parchment paper)
Cut the squash in half lengthwise, scoop out the seeds with spoon and discard
Place squash cut side down on the backing sheet and place in oven on the middle rack
Roast for about 45 min, until squash is easily pierced with fork
Let cool for 5 min then scoop
For a yummy flavor add a pinch of cinnamon.

my son is 14 months old, our latest favorite is pineapple, kale and apple with vanilla almond milk (smoothie in a bottle with a Y cut nipple), I could lap it up myself!
I also like to do mixtures of fruits or veggies with one grain (got organic 3 packs of baby oats, brown rice and buckwheat/quinoa on amazon), so like
pear, quinoa and a pinch of cardamom
broccolli, corn, cheese, oregano and buckwheat
berries blend with oats and honey/maple syrup
    lentil soup and brown rice
dates, beet, carrot and sweet potato
black beans done mexican style (sautee garlic, red onions, tomatoes with cumin powder and taco seasoning, add beans. Used the bulk of it in taco shells for the adults and mashed beans for baby) mixed with brown rice and shredded cheese.
I also print out a calendar for each month and put it on the fridge to enter his food. That way I am not repeating the same items and keeping his plate and palate full of variety!
    He loves them all!
