Mommy Makeover

by Natasha on October 18, 2009 in Uncategorized

I’ve been in dire need to get my hair done for quite some time now.

Long story short my hairdresser stood me up at my last appointment, 4 mths ago maybe, & I never got so much as an apology from her. I sat in that darn chair for more than 45 min until finally the salon manager came out and told me they couldn’t get in touch with her & gave me a gift certificate for my next visit. Well, I’ve been holding a bit of a grudge since then, after all I had been seeing her for 3 years now but today P finally gave me the nudge out the door to go to the salon & get my hair done so I’d feel pretty. He knows me so well.

Ahhh, much better. Although a bit redder than I wanted, I wanted more of a golden warm brown. I brought in this picture of Leighton Meester…
It’s been super rainy & cold here for the past week but between having my hair done & P having a fire in the fireplace when I got home it turned into a wonderfully warm & cozy evening.
Oh, and I stuffed my face with apple crisp.
I used the apples that we picked last weekend & this Martha Stewart recipe, it was really easy (I am SO not a baker) & yummmmm…

Haha! I love the face you're making in that first shot, and your hair looks fabu in the second. How rude of your hairstylist to stand you up like that, and no apology? Oy!

Btw, I just happened by here looking at sewing stuff. 🙂
