Aggressive Bananas

by Natasha on November 30, 2011 in Uncategorized

I had read about this idea on The Blogess & knew it was just what we needed for a good laugh around here…I realize my humor might be a bit “off” for some of you but in my mind I’m downright hysterical. So much so that watching P stare at the bananas, head cocked sideways, was enough to send me into a 10 minute giggle fest. He didn’t find it quite as funny.

P: Why is there a message on the bananas?

Me: I don’t know what you’re talking about. You see a message?

P: Why are the bananas telling me to run?

Me: {snicker snicker} I don’t know, maybe we should discuss why bananas are speaking to you? {snort, snicker}

P: Who told you?

Me: Told me what?

P: That you were funny.

Make your own secret banana messages by lightly writing out your text into the banana skin with either a toothpick or knife tip. Within a few hours the text will darken. You could be all sweet & send love notes in your kid’s lunchbags but I personally find instilling paranoia into your loved ones to be much more entertaining.

    I do these for my daughter’s school lunches. Works great with a chop stick. I put her sight words on them or a message from mom (I love you). It takes time for the browning to develop so she doesn’t know what it says until lunchtime.

    LOL, literally! I much prefer your paranoia inspiring humor to the nice messages, although they are certainly a nice idea.

    LOL that exchange made me giggle… I’d do the same thing 🙂 I LOVE the ‘Run Now’ one… once my youngest can read that could make for some interesting practical jokes >:)

    And I thought we liked garlic at our household. You’ve got enough to feed a village! Cute idea with the bananas.
