Mum Shirts

by Natasha on October 15, 2009 in flower stencil, freezer paper stenciling, tutorials

Remember the mum painted panels I did? Remember how I gave you a mum stencil on that post? Well turns out it makes a pretty darn cute freezer paper stencil for clothes too…
Now I’ve heard from other bloggers that you can print directly on the freezer paper as long as you’re sure to print on the NON WAXY side! Then just cut out the lines with an exacto knife and get to painting.
I had intended on putting these in the Samster shop but I’m having a hard time letting go. (:

Sooo cute! You're creations are wonderful! I love the big boom baby headband. I have 2 toddler boys, so unfortunately it won't for me…I have a lot of friends with baby girls, though. Thanks for following and I am definitely doing the same. I am very inspired by your work.

I finally finished my "baby sleeping" door sign. Now if I could just get off my butt and photograph it for you. 🙂 Thanks for the inspiration. I actually watched a door to door salesman walk away when he read my sign. THANK YOU for the brilliant idea!

Where did you get the long sleeved shirt? I can't seem to find plain ones to "bedazzle"! 🙂

The long sleeve shirt is from American Apparel. There a bit pricey at $12 but I just love all the colors they come in, & like you said, it's hard to find plain long sleeve toddler tees!

i used your flower template on a plain knit top i have using gold fabric paint. it turned out gorgeous . thanks. (i did it free-hand instead of freezer paper but i also did the diva-saurus using the stenciling technique for my daughter and it is super cute.) just in case you didn't already know you are such an inspiration. thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas!!!
